This is my first public submission and the first story I ever really took the time to flesh out.</em></p> <p><em>As I wrote this, I figure that some folks will find that it proceeds a little slower than some other stories. I think some stories proceed too quickly or don&rsquo;t spend enough time exploring or explaining certain things and I may have tipped the balance a bit farther in the other direction.</em></p>
