A biting wind was whipping the rain along the city streets causing people to cling closely to walls as they made their half-hearted way to their jobs. He had given up fighting the loosing battle of keeping his cigarette lit in such shitty weather; it hung forlornly from his tightly clenched lips. Monday mornings were bad enough, he thought to himself, without starting the day soaked to the skin.</p>
