Chapter 1

Tammy, a very educated 24 year old lawyer (soon to be married) had an awful verbal fight with her handsome young 23 year old boyfriend. She decided to get in her car and go for a ride to clear her mind. While driving for nearly 15 minutes, the rain became a monsoon and caused her to veer from the road and end up in a ditch.

She began walking in the torrential downpour when she noticed an upscale community with multi-million dollar homes. As Tammy came up on the neighborhood she noticed one home that was still lit up it was already 1:00 AM and she saw the mailbox with the name of Mrs Joan Caldwell. Nervous and wet , Tammy figured she might as well knock on the door and get help and also get out of the rain. Her cell phone she forgot back at home and what good was that doing her now. Tammy softly knocked on the door when a woman in her mid 60’s came to the door in a robe and asked how she could help. Tammy explained her predicament and asked if she could contact her boyfriend by using a phone to call him.
