&lt;p&gt;She was an investigative reporter for the FOX station in Chicago, but some of her stories had been broadcast nationally across the network. At 32, she was well know in Chicago and had a national reputation. The sky seemed the limit for the young reporter. Her work had been great, but she had made enemies. Her story had busted a big union kickback scandal, sending a few of their leaders to jail. She uncovered a rigged Fraternal Order of Police election. Her stories led to a clampdown on some organized crime related gambling operations.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
