Part One It was a little after four when the door of my hotel room opened. A perfectly manicured hand lifted the blindfold from the inner doorknob and quietly closed the door. I put down the book I was reading: BILL, THE GALACTIC HERO, and waited. She opened the door and confidently walked in, wearing the padded leather over her eyes.
