Part 1 “Arrrrrgh!!!” Meredith screamed in frustration, as she closed her front door. Gladly she kicked off her short heeled pumps into her front closet then, with a full head of steam, she stomped into the kitchen. Her husband, Todd, was there opening a cold beer when she thundered in. “A bad day?” he asked his still annoyed wife. “Hell yes, it was! That friggin’ boss of my section said that my numbers were ‘wrong’.” “He said that I ‘apparently’ wasted over 40 ‘man’ hours of the company’s time” she said. “That sunofabitch said that in front of my whole section…that I’m the supervisor of! How am I going to maintain any authority in the eyes of my employees?!?” she practically shouted, as the frustrations flowed out. She stomped over to where Todd held the opened beer, grabbed it from him unexpectedly, and up-ended the bottle, taking a healthy swallow. Todd liked that about his wife, that she could be every bit the lady, but, that she did away with the pretense of “lady-like” if she was pissed…like now. She had seemed very demure, almost bashful, in college when they met. But he had sensed something more about her, which had attracted him. ...
